Bitcoin Price Approaches Major Sell Zone – Will Bulls Break Through?

Bitcoin (BTC) is currently trading at $88,663, up 1.55% in the last 24 hours.

BTC Chart (Source Trading View)

With a trading volume of $46.20B, market cap of $1.76T, and a commanding 63.11% market dominance, BTC remains the dominant force in the crypto market.

After rebounding from the cycle low of $74,530, Bitcoin has climbed steadily to reach a local high of $88,864, with momentum building toward the next big test.

Heavy Sell Orders Around $89,500

While $89,500 is not a technical key level, it has become a critical short-term zone due to the large number of sell orders placed by traders and institutions

This sell pressure is temporarily capping the price.

If BTC manages to absorb this selling and break through $89,500, it could trigger a sharp move upward, clearing the way toward $95K and possibly testing the psychological $100K mark

A failure to do so could lead to a pullback toward $85K, where buyers may look to step back in.

Sentiment & Outlook

The market sentiment is currently bullish, but the Fear & Greed Index sits at 47 (Neutral), suggesting indecision among traders.

Many are waiting to see whether BTC can push past this current hurdle before going all in.

With over 94.5% of total supply already mined, Bitcoin’s increasing scarcity continues to support its long-term value. The 0.84% inflation rate is also a bullish macro factor.

Final Thoughts

Bitcoin is hovering just below a short-term sell zone at $89.5K

While not a key technical resistance, it has become a critical psychological barrier due to the volume of sell orders placed.

If bulls break through, the next stop could be $95K–$100K. If not, expect some short-term consolidation or a dip before another breakout attempt.

Watch this zone closely—it could define BTC’s next big move.

Bitcoin Price Analysis: Key Support and Resistance Levels to Watch

Bitcoin (BTC) is currently trading around $90,800 after facing a strong rejection near the $94,800 resistance zone. The recent pullback suggests increasing sell pressure as the market cools down from overbought conditions. BTC Chart (Source TradingView) From a technical perspective, momentum indicators are showing weakness. The MACD has turned negative , signaling a possible short-term bearish trend, while the RSI is moving lower , indicating that bears are gaining control. These signals suggest caution for traders in the near term. However, Bitcoin is approaching a critical support level at $90,288 , which remains a strong demand zone. If this support holds, BTC could see a rebound and make another attempt to break above the $94,800 resistance . A successful breakout above this level may open the door for further upside momentum. On the downside, if Bitcoin fails to hold the $90,288 support , selling pressure could intensify, pushing the price toward the $88,000 support zone ...
